Bryan Cutler candidate for re-election to the 100th Legislative District, State House of Representatives, today announced his campaign team for
this year's election. "It makes me extremely proud to announce that the members of my winning 2006 campaign team will be returning to
support me once again." Cutler said.
Returning to "Team Cutler" is: Al Martin who is now serving as Campaign Chairman, Scott Frantz-Political Director, Dan McCauley-Treasurer,
Shelley Castetter-Press Secretary, Terry Christopher-Coordinator of Voter Outreach, and Andy Martin-Asst. Treasurer. Ryan Aument, the
2006 "Team Cutler" Campaign Manager will be serving as Senior Political Advisor.
Bryan Cutler also announced that his campaign website http://www.electbryancutler.com is now open. "It is a work in progress and will act as
the first stop for people who would like to know more about me or the campaign." Cutler said. In additional to biographical data, pictures and
general information about Bryan Cutler's stand on the issues the site features the ability to make contributions online. "Our online service,
allows contributors to donate through their ATM or Credit Cards." Cutler said.
Another aspect of this year's campaign that's unique was the conscious decision to take "green initiatives". "A massive quantity of campaign
signs, which are paper or plastic and metal, are distributed before an election. Besides the signs that will be displayed in voter's yards, there
will be signs along roads and highways throughout the entire area. Before the primary is over, between the local and national candidates, there
will be over 5,000 signs in the 100th district alone. That is why I asked my campaign team to make recommendations as to how we could work
to preserve our environment, while still getting our message out." Cutler said.
One initiative Team Cutler chose was to stick with the corrugated fold over sign as opposed to switching to poly bag signs which are rapidly
growing in popularity. "During our last campaign we gave our 'lightly used' signs to local fire companies at their request. The signs were
recycled by their volunteers, who turned them inside out and advertised upcoming fund raising events on them. It turned out to be a win-win for
everyone, including the environment." Cutler said.
Team Cutler is also asking previous candidates who have left over frames/wires for their signs to please consider lending them to the Cutler
Campaign for this year's election. "Because of their weight shipping metal frames/wires for signs is brutally expensive. We would like to borrow
these frames from previous candidates and return an equal amount when the candidate comes up for re-election. Not only is it a good cost
saving measure, but then the signs do not have to be stored. Plus we minimize the risk of them being abandoned along roadways or in grassy
areas."
