Bryan Cutler candidate for re-election to the 100th Legislative District, State House of
Representatives, is rapidly closing in on his big race in New Hampshire.   The amateur
tri-athlete has been training intensely while competing in smaller triathlons as he prepares for
the highly competitive Ironman 70.3 Half Triathlon in Gilford, NH.

Bryan Cutler's journey to New Hampshire began at the Morrison's Cove Community
Triathlon in Martinsburg, PA, held May 25th.  "My finish at Morrison's Cove helped built my
confidence as I started my season."    Cutler said.  "I had recently completed physical
therapy on my knee which had cut down on my training, so I was happy that my finish turned
out to be my best ever this early in the season."

Since Morrison's Cove, Cutler has competed in the YMCA Rocky Gap State Park Triathlon
in Flintstone MD, where he finished 4th in his age group an impressive improvement over his
results from last year.  Bryan Cutler's most recent race was July 13th at the Journey for
Joann Triathlon in Towamencin, PA.   He came in 24th overall last year and 3rd in his age
group.   "My wife Jennifer, who always helps me to stay grounded, reminded me there were
only 3 people in my age group competing last year." Cutler laughed.

This year was significantly different however.  Cutler moved up 16 places to finish in 8th
place overall.  In addition, although his age group once again had 3 competitors, this time
Cutler finished in first place.

Bryan Cutler writes about the trials and tribulations of trying to incorporate a rigorous training
schedule into a jam packed professional life on his blog:  http://runbryanrun.wordpress.com.
One recent challenge?  Trying to fit in running and training while dealing with the budget
negotiations in Harrisburg.

Cutler also invites constituents to join him as he trains by contacting him through his
campaign website:  http://www.electbryancutler.com.
