As our Representative and Pennsylvania’s Speaker of the House, Bryan Cutler was the leader in Pennsylvania stopping Tom Wolf from implementing his far-left, liberal agenda.

> Stopped every one of Wolf’s proposed income and sales tax increases that offered zero guarantee of property tax relief.

> Opposed Wolf’s vaccine mandates and vaccine passports to protect our medical and personal freedoms – and he won.

> Opposed Wolf’s shutdown of our economy and passed numerous pieces of legislation to Reopen PA – legislation that Wolf vetoed and his liberal allies in Harrisburg upheld.

> Successfully – with the support of conservatives across the state – passed a Constitutional Amendment to limit the Governor’s emergency powers forever so no Governor can ever again threaten our freedoms the way Wolf did during the pandemic.

> Eliminated Pennsylvania’s onerous Capital Stock & Franchise Tax that unfairly targeted small businesses.

> Suspended hundreds of regulations to make government more responsive and less intrusive and give small businesses and entrepreneurs the freedom they need to succeed and grow.

> Protecting our agricultural economy and heritage by passing new laws that help our local farms and agri-businesses survive and grow.

> Supported efforts to reduce Pennsylvania’s highest in the nation corporate income tax to make our state more attractive to job creators and keep the job creators we have.

STOOD UP FOR ELECTION SECURITY

> Supported legislation to make elections more secure through VOTER ID, an end to “drop boxes,” implementing hard deadlines on returns for absentee ballots, requiring signature verification and more  legislation vetoed by Governor Wolf.

> Took Governor Wolf to court to stop his administration’s unconstitutional changes to election law – a lawsuit denied by his liberal allies on the state Supreme Court.

> Fighting to clean up the state’s voter registration database to ensure that only voters allowed to vote are able to vote.


MAKING EDUCATION BETTER

> Successfully expanded the EITC program that helps families exercise choice in education for their children.

> Supporting efforts to give parents a stronger voice in their children’s curriculum and keep liberal ideologies out of the classroom.

> Promoting greater investment, choice and accountability in education – because our kids deserve a great education, but education isn’t one-size-fits-all.

> Stood up to the special interest teachers’ union to pass new teacher evaluation standards that improve accountability and performance.


PROTECTING THE UNBORN

> Successfully prohibited state tax dollars from being used to fund fetal tissue research at state universities and colleges.

> Passed legislation further limiting abortion in PA – legislation vetoed by Governor Wolf.

> Member & past Chair of the House Pro-Life Caucus working to pass legislation – like the 20-week bill vetoed by Governor Wolf – that protects the sanctity of life.

> Successfully led the fight to shut down Dr. Gosnell’s “House of Horrors” abortion clinic and others like it across the state.


PRESERVING THE 2ND AMENDMENT

> Stopped every one of Governor Wolf’s liberal attacks on our 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

> Passed Constitutional Carry legislation to help ensure our rights and ability to defend our homes and lives – legislation vetoed by Governor Wolf.

> Supports tougher penalties for criminals who use guns – not infringements on the rights of law-abiding gun owners.


LEADING BY EXAMPLE ON REFORM

> Honoring his pledge to refuse the taxpayer-funded per diems and perks – instead working like we do in the real world by submitting for legitimate work expenses only.

> Led the fight to reform the public pension system – especially for legislators – then being one of only 70 state employees out of 100,000 who VOLUNTARILY opted-out of the old-style pension program.

> Prohibited taxpayer-paid cars for Republican House members.
